I get inspired by pictures and classical paintings, mainly Modern Art and antique statues, which I first overwhelm with traits and marks to make it unrecognisable.

I guess this method preserves their soul and the intention of the artist, without the interference of the represented image which can mislead the watcher.

Then I carry on trying to experience the meaning of what shades they hold.

Exploring the abstract leads to finding the eyes looking at me through the colors and shapes, making me wonder if they are my projections or someone else’s gaze.

Transforming it afterwards tends to amplify the beauty of humanity or the frightening demons they may carry, and result in the pictures you will discover with me.
